The Sherri Harvey Colonic Adenocarcinoma Foundation (SHCAF) is a Tallahassee based non-profit charity initially established to provide various medical and financial resources to my sister, Sherri Harvey, who was diagnosed with Colonic Adenocarcinoma on November 12, 2007.  It has now become the mission of  the SHCAF to provide these resources to not only my sister, but to others in our community suffering with this disease, while raising awareness, identifying treatment options and helping to find a cure.

PAST EVENTS

The 1st Annual SHCAF Community Cookout and Weiner Dog Derby was held on Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at Tom Brown Park in Tallahassee, Florida. 

A Community Garage Sale Fundraiser was held on June 7th, 2008.

The Tallahassee Rollergirls Derby was held on June 14, 2008.  Cancer materials were made available to derby attendees via a merchandise table and the foundation was mentioned several times by ShowTime, the derby girls announcer (a/k/a Will Blanton).

These events were great successes.  Thank you to all who made donations, volunteered time and sponsored the events. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

July 10, 2008, Allyn Ball featuring Troy Davis at the Comedy Zone.  The Show starts at 8 p.m.  Proceeds from the sale of tickets purchased from Gina Gibson will benefit the SHCAF. 

Tickets are $25.00 per person.  Group ticket pricing is available for tables (4 people per table) for $90.  VIP Section may be reserved for $350 and will hold 8 people.
